PERSONAL PORTFOLIO

For a long time, I have preferred drawing over painting, spending countless hours working with pencil and charcoal. I often combined traditional drawing tools with a paintbrush and charcoal powder to experiment with texture and tone.

I developed my drawing skills through the Cleveland Institute of Art’s pre-college drawing program, and continued to refine them in high school by creating an AP portfolio centered around the theme “Fear of the Dark.”

As a college student pursuing a Studio Art minor, I’ve taken a range of art classes that have expanded my interests and techniques. In both coursework and personal projects, I’ve explored oil and watercolor painting, ultimately discovering watercolor as one of my strongest and most expressive mediums.
